Product overview
Gear Protect is a high-pressure wear-protection additive for manual, auxiliary and differential transmissions. It is designed to smooth the tooth faces of gears under load, which reduces friction between meshing gear teeth and helps the transmission run more quietly with smoother, more consistent shifting.
The product is added directly to the existing gear oil rather than replacing it, and its protective effect is intended to last for approximately 100,000 km once applied. It is not suitable for automatic transmissions or for motorcycles fitted with a wet clutch, since the friction-modifying properties that benefit a manual gearbox are not appropriate for those applications.

Application
Remove the equivalent amount of gear oil from the transmission first, using the tube provided, and dispose of it correctly. Add the product at any time, particularly during a gear oil change or repair work.
