Product overview
Resealer Engine Oil Treatment is added to the engine's own oil to rejuvenate dried-out oil seals, O-rings and valve-stem seals. Blue exhaust smoke and slow oil leaks are common signs that these seals have hardened or become damaged with age, losing the flexibility needed to seal properly against oil passing through the piston rings and valve guides.
By regenerating the rubber and plastic material these seals are made from, the treatment can reduce oil consumption, stop minor oil leaks, compensate for viscosity loss in older oil and quieten seal-related engine noise, while also helping prevent the oil stains that slow leaks leave under a parked vehicle.
