Independent Audi servicing
Audi Servicing & Diagnostics in Auckland
Independent servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs for Audi vehicles from our Marua Road workshop in Auckland.
Audi is a common sight on Auckland roads, from the A1, A3 and A4 through to the Q3, Q5 and Q7. PSM Workshop looks after Audi owners with independent servicing, warning-light diagnosis and mechanical repairs — a practical option for owners who want their Audi maintained carefully without returning to the main dealer network.
Audi servicing
What an Audi needs at each service comes down to the specific vehicle rather than a fixed brand package — its model, engine, age, the kilometres it has covered, its condition and service history all shape the work that is due. Using oil and fluids that meet the correct specification for the vehicle is a big part of getting it right.
We keep clear records of the work, explain anything we find and seek your approval before carrying out any additional repairs, so there are no surprises.
- Engine oil and filter replacement to the correct specification
- Air, cabin and fuel filters where due
- Fluid level and condition checks
- Brake inspection
- Tyre condition and pressure checks
- Battery and charging check
- Steering and suspension inspection
Audi diagnostics and the EPC light
A modern Audi runs a large number of electronic control systems, and when one detects a problem it usually flags it with a warning light. An EPC (Electronic Power Control) light, for instance, points to a fault somewhere in the engine-management or throttle system — it identifies the area to investigate rather than naming the component that has failed.
The same applies to a check-engine or stability-control warning. We diagnose the actual cause before replacing anything, which avoids fitting parts the car never needed and is usually the cheaper way to sort a fault.
- Engine-management and EPC warning lights
- ABS and stability-control warnings
- Charging and battery faults
- Starting problems
- Electrical and sensor faults
- Rough running or other drivability concerns
Audi S tronic and transmission servicing
Audi vehicles are fitted with a range of transmissions. Some use an S tronic dual-clutch gearbox — part of the wider dual-clutch family — while others use a conventional automatic or a manual, so the first step is always to confirm what your particular Audi has.
Where a vehicle is fitted with S tronic, the fluid specification and service procedure differ from a conventional automatic, and the requirements are not the same across every unit. We confirm the correct fluid and method for your specific Audi rather than applying one universal interval to every car.
- Confirming whether the vehicle has S tronic, a conventional automatic or a manual
- Identifying the specific transmission and its requirements
- Using the fluid specification correct for that transmission
- Following the appropriate service procedure rather than a fixed interval
Audi mechanical repairs
Alongside servicing and diagnostics we handle the everyday mechanical repairs an Audi needs as it ages. We inspect the vehicle, explain what we find in plain language and seek your approval before starting.
- Brakes, suspension and steering
- Cooling-system faults
- Batteries and charging systems
- Tyres and wheel alignment
- General mechanical repairs
